Qatar, Moscow and Lima all have Pinkberry, the frozen yogurt chain that started the tangy treat trend back in 2005. So why have Washingtonians had to wait until this week for a location? “It doesn’t feel like it’s taken that long,” says CEO Ron Graves. “But it probably feels like a long time for Pinkberry lovers.”
Come by the grand opening on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Dupont Circle store (1213 Connecticut Ave. NW; 202-419-3443; Pinkberry.com) for a sample of the company’s signature creation. The nonfat and low-fat fro-yo is always available in “original” — a plain yogurt flavor — and a rotating roster of seasonal varieties, including lychee, mango and pomegranate.
